This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data belonging to Users (hereinafter referred to as “User” or “Users” or “Holders”), which is collected and processed by  “Albuquerque & Almeida, Advogados, ACE (hereinafter referred to as “AA”),  as the entity responsible for data processing (hereinafter also referred to as “Controller”) ,  in the context of the use of the website www.aalegal.pt (hereinafter referred to as “Website”).

Any provision or disclosure of personal data shall imply that you are aware and accept the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.

1. Collection and processing of personal data

Access to and use of the Website does not require Users to share personal data. However, using certain features of the Website, lets Users share personal data.

The data that is collected by us is on each User’s Curriculum Vitae, submitted under “Recruitment”, and the data that is provided under “Request for Contact”, such as User’s name, email address, telephone number of applicant, as well as other data which the User has, upon his own initiative, provided under the “subject” or “description” of this said title.

This data shall be processed and used by AA for the following purposes:

(i) Request for contact: upon User’s express and unambiguous consent, personal data shall be used for contacting the User and for providing any clarifications and information that may be requested by the User;

 (ii) Recruitment: upon User´s express and unambiguous consent, the User’s personal data shall be processed in connection with his application for a post.

2. User’s  Rights

Users may freely and at any given time exercise their rights established in the General Regulation for Data Protection (Regulamento Geral sobre a Protecção de Dados) and in other applicable legislation, namely:

  • The right of access;
  • Right to correct data;
  • The right to be forgotten;
  • The right to restrict processing;
  • The right of portablility;
  • The right of opposition;
  • The right to oppose automated processing.

AA shall store personal data for the length of time deemed necessary for the above-mentioned purposes.
